Time travel to the future!

 I think if I had the chance to time travel, I'd like to go to the future. I really enjoy novels or series set in ancient times, but I understand that in real life, those were tougher times. That's why the idea of going to the future and seeing if society evolves excites me more.

While I would prefer to travel to the future over the past, I must admit it does make me a bit nervous... because I often imagine it like those typical science fiction novels where the future is a dystopian world with unhappy humans surrounded by dominating robots. Although I think it's an exaggeration on my part, and perhaps in the future we will prevent robots from taking over.

I believe that something very likely to happen (and is already happening) is the evolution of artificial intelligences. Perhaps in the future, they will become more and more human-like, similar to the movie "Her" where the protagonist falls in love with an artificial intelligence. Honestly, I think it's not too far fetched for a possible future, given that artificial intelligences are tools that currently make our lives much easier.

I imagine many things about the future, both good and bad. But I think I wouldn't want to stay in the future. I prefer to experience the time I was born into and continue imagining dramatic scenarios while living in the present.
